• Designed and machined the pedal tray, brake pedal subassembly and accelerator subassembly 

• Configured the angle of tilt in the throttle subassembly and chose the optimal spring stiffness 

• Conducted a finite element analysis on the tray and optimized the displacement and stress distribution under the applied load 

• Evaluated load force calculations (pedal length, moment arm, pin shear stress and bearing strength, load ratio) and chassis bearing stress calculations (tensile yield stress) 

• Elaborated on the regenerative braking that is based on vehicle speed
